Shop With A Cop

Berrien County Sheriff’s Office will again be sponsoring “Shop With A Cop” for the 2023 Christmas season. The idea is that underprivileged young people will shop for gifts for their family (and themselves) with funds provided from fundraising by organizations like our church. Young people who may not always have good interactions with law enforcement spend a day shopping WITH a member of law enforcement.

Last year 37 kids from 11 families in Berrien County were able to pick out gifts for loved ones during the shopping spree. They then spent more time wrapping the gifts with “their cop” and having snacks. In addition to the shopping spree, the families received holiday food baskets.

Can you help more children have a better Christmas and to understand the love and giving spirit of the season? Can you increase your giving just a little more for this month? Can we the blessed community of Stevensville United Methodist Church start our holiday giving experience a bit early this year?

Please join us in supporting Berrien County Shop With a Cop for 2023!!
